TABLE 1
The table below shows the results of a continuous run using a 13.6 API "Fort Kent" feedstock in a 11/2 bbl/day pilot plant located at the Alberta Research Council. This particular run was to test relatively severe operating conditions to show that a viscosity change from 14,500 cps down to a pumpable 133 cps is possible. Note that the low pressure operation is designed to reduce equipment capital costs.
